Music, dancing, food and a chance to see people creatively dressed is why I love attending each time. come out and enjoy it with me. next september..I will be out there taking pictures and mayb a lil video footage..

  1. The best thing about the West Indian Day Parade is the uniting of community, culture, tradition, and music. I also have a vegan vendor I get food from every year.I have a Trini friend who's dad designs all the costumes and floats which are beautiful. I love a celebration and this is the best kind. The downside is traffic and train congestion. If you live in Brooklyn it can be a headache at times. If you live in Queens like me you can visit and leave and return to peace and quiet which is nice at the end of the day. I look forward to the festivities. Raise your flags up!
