Progress on Events of August 5th and 6th

Well I have been doing promotions for the "EMS Tribute Party" and the upcoming " First Saturdays Burlesque at the Speakeasy"

Today:  Aug 28,2011
Just made a video about the progress of my event planning. I don't like it. Redo. LOL
*My face was sweaty and my voice seems dry and lacks enthusiasm.

Yesterday:  Aug 27,2011
'The Backroom Team' (a group of Burlesque event planners and me) met together around 7:30pm at the Speakeasy for our follow-up meeting. We all have done our own promotions and we are now trying to settle on an Event flyer. (I must admit my team is great, it is very hard to find corresponding time schedules with busy creative professionals)

The Burlesque show is still in need of a few more acts....

The Nathaniel Show a "Tribute to EMS"

The Nathaniel Show has just finished working out the venue space and drink items for the first ever
Nathaniel Presents ...

                                                     "Tribute to EMS Party."

Friday August 5th, 2011 at 'The Speakeasy Brooklyn,' 132 Greene Ave on the corner of Waverly.

Working  closely with these unsung (and a lot of the times unappreciated heroes) gave me the chance to see things from behind the scenes.

The event was created one day when I was talking with a few EMS friends. I began asking them about EMT appreciation days or events that any of them knew about. To my surprise they didn't know of any place or event where EMS were the main attraction.

So "The Nathaniel Show" created an event were EMS can mingle together while enjoying a few beers, tequila, music, and colorful surprises.

The "Tribute to EMS Party," being only a few days old has already been passed to EMS through word of mouth. I am excited at the upcoming turn of events. Its going to be a long road and I plan to keep up with it.

EMS brother and sisterhood come on out and together, lets enjoy some drinks "The Nathaniel Show" shows its appreciates them each as individuals and members of an extraordinary and elite unit united in saving lives.

Also during the coming weeks leading up to the event, "The Nathaniel Show" will be posting journal like data on the whole process and what it took for The Nathaniel Show to present this event. Hope you enjoy... Feel free to leave me feedback.

The Nathaniel Show "Summer 2011 Dominican Republic"

This summer started with a bang or two for The Nathaniel Show. For the first time I renewed my passport and flew out of the country. My first out of the country vacation was an all-inclusive trip to the Dominican Republic. On arriving to the Dominican Republic, I was greeted by my friend Nunez who drove me to my location in La Capital (Santo Domingo) and Boca Chica beach. The weather was hot and the people were friendly. I must say my basic Spanish skills came in handy throughout the trip. While in the Dominican Republic I not only enjoyed fun in the sun but I was introduced to the culture and the new Transit system in Santo Domingo. My friend Nunez is somewhat of a historian and political in DR so I was invited to the home of the then political hopeful and now President of the Dominican Republic Danilo Medina. Nunez and his friends where very hospitable and treated me like family. The food  and the conversations even in my broken Spanish where heartwarming and memorable.
