Nazi Trump and the Red Gestapo

"Nazi Trump"
Trump's idea of putting locators on people of the Muslim Religion and enrolling them into a database.

Do you agree or disagree that all Muslim's in America should be enrolled in a database? What are the similarities to the Jews in Nazi Germany and the ultimate cause of the mass hysteria leading to Holocaust?

Commentary.
Has fear and ignorance built us a defense system only to pull  down the foundation pillars of the Constitution and the only theory that sets us apart  from the defaulting 'others'  and upholds 'silly concepts'  such as 'Freedom of Religion.' And have we suddenly removed our debts to afford such a ridiculous proposal? No, so again 'Nazi Trump' and his band of 16 Gestapo's can please sit down with their extreme, inappropriate, ignorant, racist conversations. What is a locator or signing up in a database of people of religion going to do? will it really make us safer? the ludicrous notion that we will respect and treat other's with tolerance even after they have signed up and are on the database is as crazy as the earlier

President Barak Obama had this to say in regards to stricter refugee process
according to http://www.voanews.com/content/united-states-mayors-urge-congress-not-turn-back-on-refugees/3068677.html
"There’s a difference between smart applications of law enforcement and military and intelligence and succumbing to the kind of fear that leads us to abandon our values, to abandon how we live, to abandon or change how we treat each other.
How has being strict on any process led to favorable outcomes or helped to decrease our chances of any attack? The President's basic premise was that creating a more stricter program would not make America any safer.

Despite President Barak Obama's stance on this issue, majority of the states listed as Republican or 'Red' states have expressed there bold positions' against taking in any Syrian refugees altogether. Below is a map provided by Citylab.com that shows the percentage of states that oppose and support inclusion of the Syrian people in need.

Many Governor's oppose the acceptance of Syrian refugees but that didn't stop the Mayor's of these states from having a difference of opinion. Below is another map that document the various cities and Mayors' that have upheld the Humanitarian efforts to support the acceptance of  Syrian refugees.

Obama and Approval Ratings 2014

During the wake of the on going conflict between Israel and Palestine and Russia and Ukraine the President is again on the path of gaining or losing followers. Recent approval ratings has dipped from 69% in January 2009 to about 41% on July 2014 according to Gallup a public opinion firm. What would happen if President Obama was planning to (hypothetically) run for office again and how can these approval ratings and media rants affect his political future? According to my recent research performed after the 2012 Presidential election, " the influence of social media on young voters has an influential effect as long as it goes along with their own established ideologies and principles. For example, Ben might believe that a 'leader' should fight anyone that steps over a drawn line in the playground. Joanna believes a 'leader' is one that can talk his way out of a fight and in turn has freedom to play on all sides of the playground. In both instances the same word leader is being used but both Ben and Joanna have different associations to its meaning. Ben would then think that Joanna's leader is a weakling and Joanna would think that Ben's leader is a thug or a bully.A news headline that reads  'Joanna's leader can't lift 10 pounds' Ben and his friends would agree without hesitation. If a headline read, 'Ben's leader the class bully' Joanna and her friends' would  further be convinced. In relation to the great influx of dialog, personal, in print and broadcast all have taken sides for or against the President's strategy or how he performs his job, but is not all of our ideas of leadership ability differently? Social media according to my research serves as a tool to reinforce what an individual already believe to be true or have some type of consistency to there own belief system.  Here is a link to the research

What do you believe about social media?

Caribana "Carnival of Toronto" August 1- 4th 2013

About Caribana
This past weekend has been filled with vibrant colors, rhythm and the beauty that is Caribana. Caribana is Toronto’s’ version of Carnival and is based on the Caribbean island of Trinidad’s culture and music history. The first Caribana took place in the late 1960s and was a ‘gift’ of the Caribbean population to the Canadian people. Caribana is held on the first Saturday in August and it commemorates Afro-Trinidadian’s emancipation from slavery during 1834. The climax of Caribana is the massive parade held downtown  Toronto and resembles the Carnival in Trinidad. Throughout the years Caribana has become a melting pot of all Caribbean cultures and displays this through music, costumes and food. The event is equally shared by all who enjoy music with a beat, good food, and the sight of breathing taking masqueraders.

Trip August 1st to 4th “Caribana 2013”

Visiting Canada with a few travel buddies during Caribana 2013 was such an exciting experience. My parents are both Caribbean, father (Trini) and mother (Jamaican) so I felt a resurgence of pride to take part in my heritage. Heritage wasn’t the only reason I wanted to experience Caribana. The chance to dance to good music, have fun exploring the city with friends’ and to see some of the most beautiful people in the world topped my list.  Even though it was a ten hour bus ride from New York to Toronto with friends’ it was less traumatic.  Of course, we compared the prices of cabs to New York’s  fare (which is double) and food prices (about the same). Currency exchanges were done onsite at any store that we went to and for the most part was reasonable. Everyone spoke English and seemed to be friendly which was amazing. We weren’t the only one’s making the trek up to Toronto for the Caribana festival; an estimated 1.1 million people visited Toronto for the event. As we were to all find out, the Caribana festival is quoted as being the largest in North America. Of that 1.1 million other visitors of Canada during Caribana weekend is my partner in crime  Mandela. The below footage is of Caribana 2013 weekend. Thanks again to Mandela Gregoire  for this footage.
