Stork- Children's clothing store in Brooklyn.

One aspect of life that unites all cultures is the need to provide for and take care of each one's child. During the past few weeks I have had the priviledge of working with "Stork" owner Eyana Carballo as she brought to life a much needed quality children's boutique to the Crown Heights Brooklyn Neighborhood.

BI O ME

I was recently excited to learn of an exciting opportunity to work alongside a true "mover and shaker." For the position I had to revamp my resume and cut out all the fluff and stuff. A little while later I was also engaged with the thought of me writing a BIO about me. At first this seemed like an easy task such as writing up a "me in a nutshell" or summary of 27 years of life and work. Yea right? that was harder than standing on my feet for 12 hours in the same position while someone slowly dumps snow down my shirt...I must admit it was definetly a soul searching experience. Questions I had to ask myself? Who am I really? should I include this or delete that? whats the message I want to let shine brightly above all else? what do I really want? is someone going to grade this? these are just a few thoughts. I love to interview others about the things they do, who they are and whatever else bleeds through my soaking curiosity but to write my own bio was interestingly distracting..... will post it soon.
